How strong do you want it?
Every band is built to the same standard. What changes is how much strength is in it.
Reading the names. The number — 1X, 2X, 3X, 6X — is the strength of the bracelet. The higher the number, the stronger the band. Plain, Thin and Thick describe the link profile, not the strength. Price tracks both, which is why a Plain 6X can cost less than a Thick 3X.

A small workshop, not a warehouse
Gaia Gems is a US small business. Every bracelet is assembled by hand — the elements seated one link at a time, the finish polished and inspected before it ships.
You will also find us in person. We sell at fairs, festivals, markets and pop-ups across the country, where people can try a band on before they buy one. Everything we sell online is the same piece we hand across the table at those events.

Questions people ask us first
How do I choose my size?
Wrap a strip of paper or a tape measure snugly around your wrist, just below the wrist bone, and note the measurement in inches. Order the size that matches — our bands are sized to wrist measurement, not band length.
Between two sizes? Take the larger one — links can be removed, but not added. If it arrives wrong, send it back free within 30 days.

What is the difference between 1X, 2X, 3X and 6X?
The number is the strength of the bracelet. 1X is our lightest and 6X is our strongest, with 2X and 3X in between — the higher the number, the stronger the band. Plain, Thin and Thick describe the shape of the link, not the strength. That is why price varies across both: a Plain 6X and a Thick 3X are built very differently.
Which strength should I choose?
If this is your first Gaia Gems band, most people start at 1X or 2X. If you already wear magnetic jewellery and want our strongest build, go to 6X. Strength does not change the sizing, the metal, or the warranty — every band is built to the same standard.
Are the gemstones natural?
Yes. Every stone we set is natural — including our Cat’s Eye, Citrine and Strawberry Quartz. No glass, no synthetics, no heat-treated substitutes. See the full materials guide.
Will it tarnish, rust, or turn my skin green?
Our steel bands are 316L surgical-grade stainless — the same grade used for implants — and will not rust or tarnish with normal wear. Solid copper bands develop a natural patina over time and can leave a temporary mark on skin; that is the copper itself, it rinses off, and a polishing cloth restores the shine.
What if it does not fit or I change my mind?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. We email you a prepaid return label — you do not pay to return it. The bracelet just needs to come back in the condition it arrived.
Is it safe to wear with a pacemaker or medical implant?
These bracelets contain strong neodymium magnets. As a standard precaution, we do not recommend wearing them if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, insulin pump or any other implanted electronic medical device, and we would ask you to speak to your doctor before wearing one if you are pregnant. Gaia Gems bracelets are jewellery — they are not a medical device and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
