Gaia Gems US was born from courage, perseverance, and the belief that new beginnings can become extraordinary stories.
From Venezuela to building a dream
Our founder, Francisbel Flores, arrived in the United States from Venezuela with four children, limited resources, and a determination to build a better future for her family. She started from the bottom — working tirelessly, overcoming uncertainty, and learning every step of the business along the way.
She spent twenty years in the restaurant industry, and was selling her own restaurant in 2024 when Gaia Gems began. It started as minerals and jewelry sold in person — fairs, trade shows, bike rallies and pop-up events around the country. That is a blunt way to learn what people actually want. Someone picks a piece up, turns it over, and either reaches for their wallet or puts it back down.
So she cut what did not sell and kept what did, and what kept selling was bracelets. That is the whole reason this is a bracelet company — not a plan drawn up in advance, just what people bought, over and over, standing in front of her. The online store opened at shop.gaiagemsus.com in early 2025.
What began as a simple dream grew into a thriving, woman-owned company — built through hard work, resilience, faith, and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best.
Two generations
Today Francisbel leads Gaia Gems US alongside her eldest daughter, Valerie Parra, who runs logistics and customer service. Valerie is a civil engineer by training and a graduate of Florida International University.
That makes this more than a business. It is a family legacy built by two generations of women who believe in strength, purpose, and the power of transformation.
What we make
Gaia Gems US makes magnetic therapy bracelets, handcrafted in surgical-grade steel, titanium and copper and set with genuine gemstones. Alongside them we make natural-stone beaded bracelets on stretch cord, and crystal pieces for the home.
Two things in our product names mean something specific, and we would rather explain them than let you guess:
- 1X, 2X, 3X and 6X is strength. A higher number is a stronger bracelet — 6X is our strongest, 1X our gentlest. It is not a count of stones or minerals.
- Plain, Thin and Thick is the link profile — the shape of the band. That is a separate thing from strength, which is why a Plain 6X can cost less than a Thick 3X.
Where our materials come from
Our materials come from supplier partners in two regions: South America — Chile and Uruguay — and Asia — India, Japan and China. We buy direct rather than through a middleman, which is the main reason we can answer questions about what is actually in a piece.
Our stones are natural. We do not sell synthetic glass dressed up as gemstone, and we do not sell heat-treated stone as untreated. Our Cat's Eye, Citrine and Strawberry Quartz are all natural — we confirmed it because a customer at a market asked and we did not want to guess. Every product page lists what that piece is made from, and our Materials and Mineral Guide covers each stone in detail.

We do not claim our bracelets treat medical conditions. They are jewelry and wellness accessories, not medical devices, and nothing we say about them is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
